G1 soon coming to India

October 15th, 2008 | by Vineet |

The lauched by & T-Mobile or commonly known as First Google Phone which is yet to come out in general public has already sold (pre-order) approximately 1.5 million sets might be coming to India as well.T-Mobile is giving for $179 + 2 year contract.

According to some confidential sources or can also be rumors as off now but the news is that & some leading Indian Telecom Service Providers are in talks to launch The Phone in India.

So People who were disappointed with iPhone’s prices it can be a great news for you guys. I’ve also heard that would be the provider who would get the phone first considering that fact that & have quiet good relationship & understanding. So it can be our very own to come out with .

Price of this phone is said to be ranging from 8,000-10,000 INR though i am not at sure about this as some sources also said it might start with INR 20,000 which can be said as a good deal since iPhone is priced INR 30,000 in India so it would be lot cheaper and since is Open Source we can expect developments at a higher pace then Apple’s iPhone.

Though judging the fact that which is better wont be right as is yet to come out in general public though reviews are quiet good & as said by some experts it can be time for iPhone users to have Buyer Remorse but not totally as is currently lacking some features whereas has added advantage to it also.

So now lets keep the fingers crossed and hope that the competition between Apple, Nokia & ignite more & the prices cut down.

G1 is no doubt at par with Iphone if not better yet. In the long run G1 would beat Iphone as Google API’s are much more open.

Clock and calling are just like any other application you can develop on Android. It really give the power to the developer.

Just wait till developers around the globe get there hands on new G1 and powerful Android API’s

I totally agree with u abhishek.. considering the fact that open source things are much more faster in getting new applications.
G1 mite be lackin in many features considering iPhone but those who still r in favor of iPhone i wud say that G1 is just a baby give it sometime to grow up.
Android is a powerful OS, Google made a right deal when it acquired Android & made it open source.
    OPEN SOURCE MATTERS!

Who says G1 lacks in feature? Read about some of the apps already developed for G1.
