Happy Birthday to Bapu (Mahatma gandhi)
Though i am not a big Gandhi Fan commonly said as Gandhivadi or what Munna Bhai says as doing Gandhigiri, but then also i like few things about him & people who are not in support of Gandhiji also admit on 1 thing that if it was not off him we would still be somewhat slaves under the Britishers. So he was the man behind our Independence, though i personally think that Indian revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh & Chandrasekhar Azaad could have done the task way before if they were supported and India would have been a better country. But its easy said then done, who actually knows.
So i would like to wish one of the greatest man of India on his 139th Birthday. I wish & hope none in India would forget him ever and everyone follows what he said & make India a country of his dreams.
Happy Birthday to the Father of our Nation – Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi

Well I am a big fan of Mahatma Gandhi, I think he had a lot of determination and I respect the fact that he followed the path to truth…I think every human being should read his autobiography…My experiments with truth..its worth reading…Happy Birthday Bapu….
I too am a big fan of Mahatma Gandhi. i think he did a great job of bringing common people out of their homes with the powerful tool of Ahimsa (Non-violence). Also the fact that he spoke truth no matter what, is amazing. It requires a lot of determination and courage.
I think such a power to motivate a nation couldn’t be achieved from violence alone by revolutionaries.
Thanks Naina for mentioning his biography, will read it as soon as I have some free time.
I personally feel I dont about him well enough. There were definitely good points and bad points about Mahatma Gandhi.
Everyone knows about the good points, millions are inspired by his quotes even today.
However, some bad incidents that I feel were – punishing the innocent instead of the culprit! (he ordered a woman in his ashram to cut her hair because a crazy man got attracted to her), excessive philosophy of non-violence (violence against injustice is necessary), etc.
