i think it is a great search engine. I accept different people are used to different styles and ways and have different priorities. Some are are buzz freaks; always go where otehrs go. But, self-respecting people who does not want to be reduced to some G algorithm and profiling would love yauba for their Privacy protection. Must congratulate them as the first search engine to do just that !

u r absolutely true abhishek.. i totally agree with ur conclusion perhaps i just made few searches on youba (certainly funny name & hard to pronouce it my first reaction too) but actually neva compared it with google.
yauba (i don't knw wat it means really i dont have a freakin idea abt it)gives the option for you to choose wat type of search results u r seeking in the very beginning too so i guess prob can be solved though google's simplicity is the key.
We need to accept the concept of privacy safe search engine by yauba (don't just dislike the name bro :P) for which google has been suffering alot in the past.
Lets hope for the best & wish them good luck :)

I tested out this site.. Looks neat.. but i dont think they have there own search algorithm. I tested out same exact search phrase.. and both google and yauba (funny name, and hard to pronounce) returned exact same search results.

Google was bit faster but yauba(what does it mean anyway?) had a lot of extra stuff, which is nice sometimes but didn't answer my query.. To get to the page which had the answer to my query i just had to scroll down in google and look at the 6th result... but in yauba(i am starting to dislike this name :@) i had to click on "show more Internet sites" and voila there it was at 6th number .. the same result...

Now i am not pro google or any thing and i admit that yauba people have done a commendable job with web site design for which i congratulate them. Its just that i don't think that extra bells and whistles of showing a lot of different search results, which can be overwhelming for users switching over from google, will make yuaba new google from india. After all its google's simplicity that makes us return again and again to google.
